ActiveECG Arrhythmia Simulator Installation
Version 1.0 r18 of the ActiveECG Arrhythmia Simulator.
(2.8MB .EXE file)

If you don't have the ActiveECG cardiac monitor hardware, you can use the software to create a demonstration of what using ActiveECG would be like. The ActiveECG Arrhythmia Simulator runs under Windows and uses a serial port on the PC to simulate the ActiveECG hardware.

Load the ActiveECG Palm OS Application onto a handheld and place it in a serial cradle attached to the PC.

Run the Arrhythmia Simulator on the PC, select the COM port to use, and press the "Enable Simulator" button. The selected arrhythmia will be displayed on the Palm OS handheld while it is running the ActiveECG software.

With the handheld you can record sample strips, use HotSync® technology to transfer the strips to a PC, and then use the ActiveECG Viewer for Windows to display those strips on your PC for archiving or printing. You must install the ActiveECG conduit and ActiveECG Viewer if you want to transfer strips for viewing on the PC.

Make sure to turn off the HotSync Manager before using the same serial port with the Arrhythmia Simulator.
